Dr Nick Sanders
Dr. Nick Sanders was born and raised in the small town of West Monroe, Louisiana as the youngest of four boys. With a mother who was an elementary school principal and a father who was a high school strength and conditioning coach, he grew up in a competitive environment and developed a strong passion for both sports and teaching.

He attended Louisiana State University, where he earned his undergraduate degree and became a devoted LSU football fan. He then pursued his dental education at the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. After graduation, he stayed in New Orleans to complete his endodontics residency at LSU, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Sanders brings that same competitive drive and love for teaching into his practice, striving for excellence in patient care and staying up to date with the latest advancements in endodontics. He takes pride in helping patients preserve their natural teeth through advanced treatment techniques while educating them on their oral health.

Dr. Sanders is thrilled to be in western North Carolina, where he, his wife (Megan), and their growing family spend lots of time exploring the outdoors, enjoying the scenery, and discovering new places to eat. When he’s not in the office, he enjoys golfing, eating delicious food, spending time with family, and cheering on the LSU Tigers.

“I've never had an easier root canal than Dr. Chasteen provided me. My comfort was his top priority. He even asked if I was going to sleep at one point, which I was very close.”

Gentlewave® Technology
The revolutionary GentleWave® Procedure is reinventing the traditional root canal treatment with a minimally invasive root canal process. Patient benefits include preserved tooth structure and early healing.

Replacing much of the manual instrumentation, it optimizes procedure fluids to help prevent the removal of excess tooth structure – maintaining its natural functionality and structural integrity. The high-tech fluid delivery system distributes fluids throughout your root canal system to effectively remove infection from the root canal system. One visit is usually all it takes. And, it’s so effective at cleaning the root canal system that there's less chance of needing a root canal retreatment later.
We’ve also invested in Planmeca’s state-of-the-art 3D dental imaging system to offer you safer, more accurate care.
